Who can apply:
1.Prospective employees must be Graduate Engineers who have passed Engineering degree exams in the year 2009 or 2010
2.Full time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from an institute recognized by AICTE with first division in first attempt taking average of all the semesters / years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester / year by the Institute / University
3.Final year / semester students who expect their result by 01.08.2010 may also apply provided they have obtained at least first division, taking average up to pre-final examination
4.Age not more than 25 years on 30.06.2010
5.First division in 10th and 12th standard and not more than one year gap between 12th and Engineering.
Registration:
Interested Engineering professionals will have to register on or before 22.06.2010
Admit Cards to eligible Engineering professionals will be sent by email indicating their roll number, name of allocated test centre and guidelines for test on or before 05.07.2010
Admit Cards will not be sent by post or courier
No manual / paper applications will be entertained. Engineering professionals are required to fill in the email -id in the online application form compulsarily for all future communication
Selection:
Selection will be done based on an online Technical Test and Aptitude Test which will be carried out at the following 24 Centres across India
Allahabad Chandigarh ,Guwahati,Kolkata,Patna,Thiruvananthpuram,Ahmedabad,Chennai,Hyderabad,Lucknow,Pune,Visakhapatanam,Bhopal, Delhi,Raipur,Mumbai, Ranchi,Shahjanpur (UP),Bengaluru, Noida,Jaipur,Nagpur,Tirupati,Waidhan (MP)
Test centre will be alloted solely at the discretion of the company. Company at its discretion can add or delete the centres.
Final selection will be done through
1.Group Discussion
2.Personal Interview
Engineering professionals will be communicated about the schedule of Group Discussion & Personal Interview through email address provided by them for final selection.
Placement
The selected Engineering professional shall undergo one year training at our various projects
The final place of posting will be allocated after successful completion of training
Engineering professionals will be given roles in upcoming thermal, hydro, gas and coal projects in engineering, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, operations and maintenance, quality assurance and operations services etc
Engineering professionals can be placed, across the country, in any of the functions at projects or offices and at any subsidiary companies of Reliance Power Limited

No Travelling Allowance will be paid for appearing in the test
Engineering professionals will have to make their own travel and boarding arrangment for appearing in the online test.
Engineering professionals called for Group Discussion and Interview will be reimbursed IInd AC train fare on submitting proof of travel. All the reimbursement will be sent to their residential address. For those selected, travel reimbursement will be made at the time of joining.
