Roles and Responsibilities: Testing Concepts
Skill & Job Requirements: Testing Concepts(L1)-Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, applyand maintain quality standards for company products. Develops and executessoftware test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modificationof software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality andrecommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers inresolution of problems. Works on problems of limited scope, through usage ofstandard programming concepts and principles. Works under high supervision/guidance with frequent review of accomplished objectives. Expected to learn onthe job towards developing domain knowledge along with technical/ proprietaryskills.

Skills: Prime responsibility of this role is to complete Test Execution for a defined module or a product. Develop test cases and identifynd report bugs. This role has three levels. L1 is entry level position, incumbent is responsible for Test Execution. Developing test cases ( manual/ automated) as per defined guidelines and escalate the blocking issues appropriately to the lead or test manager.
